GPS Formats:
What is GPX?
It's an XML file designed for transferring GPS data between software applications. It can be used to describe waypoints, tracks, and routes.
In other words it is a data format for exchanging GPS data between programs, and for sharing GPS data with other
users and programs. GPX files contain a description, allowing
other programs to read them..
Zipped Files:
Magellan and GPX files
are zipped because they include multiple files. You'll have
to unzip these files once they are downloaded to your PC.
You can get unzipping software at http://www.winzip.com/
or http://www.win-rar.com/
